Waitakere College warmly welcomes International students to our large multi-cultural West Auckland secondary school. We have students from over 65 different cultures in our school and we celebrate diversity.

We have an International Department to provide you with a safe, friendly family homestay environment and a high quality education.

We have our own staff to meet you at the airport, take you to meet your host family and help make your stay in New Zealand a happy time.

Waitakere College provides translators to help with communication in a range of different languages.

On arrival we assess each student’s English skills and future plans for university study so that students can be placed in a course which best meets their needs.

Waitakere College is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students, as required by the NZ Ministry of Education.
