Netball Academy

Students keen on Netball now have the chance to apply for membership to our Netball Academy, under the guidance of HL Netbasix Netball with Facilitator/Coaches Lina Iuta and Hedy Turner.

Criteria for selection      (Places are limited) 

  • Positions are open to all students 
  • those selected must maintain a sound academic programme and achievement
  • excellent attendance
  • a willingness to contribute both skills and spirit to the Waitakere teams for which they play
  • attend a selection interview

    This is an exciting venture for Waitakere College in utilising the strengths of our staff to build up the skills and talents of our students.
