1. Teacher of PE & Health (maternity leave position to commence Term 3)

We are looking to engage a fixed term Teacher of PE with the ability to teach senior PE and Health up to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship in the Physical Education department.  The successful applicant will join a team of experienced PE and Health teachers in our College.

 The successful applicant for the above position will have a strong focus on the school's philosophy of academic achievement and be expected to participate in our Te Kotahitanga professional development programme at the school. We also expect the successful applicant to be involved in the extensive co-curricular life of our College.

2  Teacher of Science (Physics/Chemistry) 

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to work in our well-resourced and successful Science department commencing Term 3.  The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of the NZ Curriculum and experience of teaching NCEA pathways to Level 3 and scholarship including General Science at Level 3.

Sports Coaches wanted

Waitakere College are currently looking for coaches for the 2012 Winter sports season for our senior and junior sports teams.

We are always looking for coaches across all sporting codes (please check the sports page on this website to see sports we offer) but in particular we are looking for coaches in the following areas;

Football (Soccer), Rugby Union, Netball, Hockey, Water Polo and Basketball.

Coaching experience is preferred but not essential as we are looking for coaches for both social and premier/senior teams.
